NOTIFICATION OF INTENDED ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGE METHODOLOGY AND CHARGES FOR THE SOUTH FORK WATER BOARD

This notice is to inform all interested parties of the proposed adoption of a water supply, treatment and distribution facilities System Development Charge (SDC) methodology and charges by the South Fork Water Board, and serves to fulfill the 90 day notice to interested parties as required by ORS 223.304(6). If adopted, the proposed SDC methodology and charges will go into effect for all applicable permits applied for on or after October 15, 2010.

Implementation of the proposed methodology and charges consists of two separate components:

  1. The proposed water system SDC methodology will be available for public review on August 14, 2010 (at least 60 days prior to public hearing). The South Fork Water Board will solicit written input through September 23, 2010.
  2. The South Fork Water Board will hold a public hearing on October 14, 2010 regarding the proposed adoption of the new SDC’s.

Persons desiring to comment on the proposed methodology and charges will need to submit written comments to South Fork Water Board at the above address, on or before the close of the public comment period as noted above. At the conclusion of the public comment period, all the submitted comments will be considered by the South Fork Water Board prior to the adoption of a Resolution implementing the new fees.
